World Children’s Day

World Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare. AHIS celebrated the world children’s day by organizing interaction with Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General, Royal charity organization. This gave a very good opportunity for the members of the Middle and High School student council to interact and understand the importance of children in building their world. Dr. Mustafa shared with the students the importance of acquiring a good education and gave examples from his life to the students .

Children can make a difference in each country to shape the world they want. He explained the duties and responsibilities of the children to the society, country, and the world. He stressed that today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens. There was an active question-answer session which gave the opportunity to the students to strengthen their self-confidence to communicate with leaders. Also, it motivated them to explore various ways to be part of their country to support needy children. Thus this gave an opportunity to understand how to take action by the children for the children.
