American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) and Al Hekma International School first school in Bahrain to sign a scholarship partnership

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and Al Hekma International School in Bahrain signed an agreement to provide a framework of cooperation and facilitate collaboration in areas of mutual interest. AURAK is one of the top-ranked universities in the Gulf attracting students from all over the world with a vast array of degree programs and high quality of education.

The virtual signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim- President / Professor of Political Science, Prof. Stephen Wilhite- Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Success / Provost Professor – Psychology & Mr. Mohammed Hettini- Chief Marketing and Communications Officer & Ms. Maya Harb Al Hekma International School principal, as well as a number of senior officials of the two institutions.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two institutions by attracting distinguished high achieving Al Hekma’s students from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds to study at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah and offer the students an opportunity to compete for scholarship and be considered for financial support via the university’s financial aid program. This is a testament to Al Hekma’s mission and passion to continue supporting its students beyond high school.
