Students are involved in the Young Leaders Council program YLC where AHIS teaches and enhances leadership skills of promising students in an experiential atmosphere and prepares them for a greater understanding of their roles in democracy and the responsibilities of global citizenship. YLC program offers the students the chance to discuss current events and issues, investigate concepts and then put them instantaneously to work.

YLC features creative decision-making simulations that challenge young minds to solve problems and lead their peers through role-playing exercises in an energy-charged environment far from the traditional classroom experience.
